Using a combination of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Hypnotherapy, and Mindfulness, I work collaboratively with my clients to help them make sustainable changes in their lives.
I specialise in helping people improve their relationship with food. Together, we can address:
- Chronic dieting and binge-eating
- Restricting and compensatory behaviours
- Shame and guilt around eating
- Feeling out of control around food
- Black and white thinking
- Dysfunctional and distressing habits
- Body dissatisfaction and negative body image
- Thin-ideal internalisation
- Poor interoceptive awareness (i.e. feeling disconnected from your body).
I also support clients with:
- Low self-confidence
- Imposter syndrome
- Creative blocks
- Getting unstuck
- Anxiety and stress
I’m a certified Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapist with a Master’s Degree in Psychology and extensive experience working within the mental health sector.
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Hypnotherapy are evidence-based psychological tools that can help you reframe your beliefs and behaviours and overcome deeply ingrained thought patterns and unconscious blocks that may be hindering you.
I chose to study and work with these modalities, because they’ve helped me massively throughout my life, providing a flexible approach that can be tailored to different needs.
My goal is to support my clients in becoming their own therapists.
As a long-term Vipassana meditator, my therapeutic work fuses mindfulness and curiosity, while my philosophy is to foster self-compassion and self-efficacy.
What to expect:
I offer online sessions so that you can arrange for therapy to take place from the comfort of your own space.
Our first session will include an in-depth assessment of your needs and goals. We’ll also decide on how many sessions we think you’ll need. Typically, this can be anything from 3 to 12, although I do work longer-term with some clients.
If you have any questions or would like to have a chat before deciding to work with me, please don’t hesitate to reach out. You can email me at firstname.lastname@example.org to book a free consultation (20 minutes via phone or Skype).
